Since there are a variety of Audio Master formats, carefully choose the one that is appropriate for your purposes. As you will note Digitally CD Duplication provides mastering playback capabilities on virtually every format that is available. We are here to provide both production and technical assistance that will ultimately give you the lowest cost solution to your Audio cassette duplication needs. Master Format

Printing/Packaging

To be guaranteed that you receive the best looking finished product we ask that you carefully review the requirements for the printing of both the label area on the Audio cassette itself and also the specifications for the printed parts such as the J card, O card, face label and other packaging if applicable. If the materials you supply are not provided within the Digitally CD Duplication specifications, there can be a delay in production and possibly extra charges if some of the packaging process becomes manual instead of automated.

Master Format The format for cassette duplication may be any of the following:
	DAT
	CD
	CD-R
	Cassette
	Analog Tape - ¼"
Quality Assurance
	A. Please supply a track sheet including where to split Side A and Side B on the cassette, and the total timing of each side.
	B. Please indicate any unusual noise or general notes regarding the quality of the recording.
Make A Copy
	It is suggested that a safety copy of the master is made before shipment. Never send "the only copy".
J Card
	Note: If supplying "j" Card Inserts, please be sure to have spines and folds perforated completely. Perforation to be made from the non printed side

All dimensions are in inches!
	1. Type not to be closer than 1/6" to any score or knife.
	2. Overall width = 4 inches.
	3. Grain in lengthwise direction.
	4. Score first three panels, perforate all others.
	5. Perforate 1/32" x 1/32". 16 teeth per inch.
	6. No score or perforation on last panel of 7-panel and up (if it folds).
O - Card
	O-Cards usually contain track details on the flap.  The title, the artist, and record company details usually appear on the spine (along with the chrome and/or Dolby logos) Paper Weight: 18 pt.
Cassette Label Imprint Side A
	Outer border identifies recessed molded area in cassette wall.
Side B
	Shaded area indicates maximum print area.
	1. Artwork for the Cassette printing should be camera ready.  Films should be Right Reading Emulsion Down Negatives.
	2. If providing copy to be typeset, please type or print legibly.
	3. For any logos, such as Dolby or Chrome, please indicate positioning on the shell.
	4. Minimum type is 4pt., all small type should be Sans Serif.

(these charges are waved for orders of 1000 & up).
Extras
	J-Cards (see our Printing Prices Special ink color - add $50.00 per plate For two or more color imprinting - Add $30.00 for each negative for plates. Add $20.00 for each printing plate. * Two color – two sided imprinting requires four plates.
